Bóbr in October Part 3. A quest for graylings

On Sunday we had one more spey casting training session in the morning.
After lunch, the course officially ended. We thanked Piotr, Igor and Gosia for organization of the training and accommodation. All was very well organized.

On the way home, I decided to hit the river again in search of graylings.  Marcin, another student from the courses, accompanied me .

We drove to the very picturesque area, where river winds, surrounded by wall of forest.
There's few riffles with fast water, and some deeper holes.

I started to fish with nymphs in the slow run, under the overhanging tree branches. I immediately got 3 strikes by graylings, but all fish were lost.

I moved downstream to the fast riffle.  I got couple of fish, but all was small. Behind the riffle, in the deep water, I got "proper" grayling.

That was very beautiful fish.

I walked upstream. The colors of autumn forest are fascinating.

This place was so beautiful, that I wanted to stay there longer. I was enjoying every moment of being there.

I reached some small island in the middle of the river.  There was fish, but mostly small ones.

Oh, that's another grayling.  I love this river very much!

And surroundings are simply stunning!

Nice surprise was to catch two fish at the same time. Trout on the bottom fly, and grayling on the dropper.  This double catch occurred three times on this river!

Can't get enough of this river.

Unfortunately, it was getting darker, as days became shorter in October.  So essentially it's possible to fish only to 18:00 or so.  I packed my rods, and drove to home.
Near the bridge I met Marcin again. We were fishing in different locations. He found good place for dry fly, and caught few trouts.  We said goodbye to each other, and I drove to home.

It was great trip, I discovered new beautiful places, and met new people.  I will look forward to visit Bóbr again.
